To the editor:

I thought it was really nice of you to print such a nice article about the three boys that made first-team all-Sunflower League. In fact the article stated, “Three city players earn all-league honors.” You went on to describe their seasons in fairly good detail. What about the three girls that were selected also? All you had to say about them was, “On the girls side …” Wow! What coverage. I personally know all three of those girls, and they all had fantastic seasons! They had to work just as hard as the boys to garner such notoriety as this and all you have to say is, “On the girls side …” Maybe you should rewrite the article and give the girls the credit that they worked so hard to get?!
