Weather halts spring football drills

Kansas University’s second spring football practice session was postponed Monday because of inclement weather.

The Jayhawks’ first workout open to the public has been rescheduled for 3:15 p.m. Wednesday on the practice field behind Anschutz Pavilion.

The Jayhawks opened spring drills with a closed practice Sunday.

Jayhawk baseball, softball squads on road

Kansas University’s baseball and softball teams are scheduled to play on the road today.

The baseball team (18-8-1) will take a five-game winning streak to Tulsa, Okla., for a 3 p.m. game against Oral Roberts. KU has won five in a row.

The softball team (15-8) will go to Kansas City, Mo., for a 4 p.m. doubleheader against UMKC.
