Jane Woestemeyer Chase

BELLA VISTA, ARK. ? Services for Jane Woestemeyer Chase, 78, Bella Vista, Ark., will be at 11 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Bella Vista.

Mrs. Chase died Friday, March 12, 2004, at Northwest Medical Center of Benton County in Bentonville, Ark.

She was born June 26, 1925, in Lawrence, the daughter of Armin Edgar and Dorothy (Graeber) Woestemeyer. She grew up in Lawrence and moved to Bella Vista in 1982 from Wyckoff, N.J.

Mrs. Chase was a member of Bella Vista First United Methodist Church, where she participated in bell choir and United Methodist Women, was a Sunday school teacher and volunteered with Vacation Bible School and Memorial Committee. She was on the advisory board for the Single Parent Scholarship Fund and was a member of Andante Music Club.

Survivors include her husband of 58 years, M. Daniel Chase, Bella Vista, and a son, George M. Wine Chase, Kansas City, Mo.

Two sons, Rollins Daniel Chase and Rodney Armin Chase, died earlier.

The family suggests memorials to the church endowment fund, 20 Boyce Drive, Bella Vista AR 72714; or the Bella Vista Library, 11 Dickens Place, Bella Vista AR 72714.
