Traditional colors

Regarding “Black mark” (Public Forum, Feb. 27):
I cannot agree more with Nancy Stoppel’s comments. Surely some design can be found that reflects the crimson and the blue. We have a long and storied history with one of the finest institutions of higher learning, and part of that history is its colors. Our Marching Jayhawks are true ambassadors for the university, and a significant change in the band’s colors serves only to diminish that fine tradition.
