Lansing ? The De Soto boys appeared to blow a tied game wide open with a 25-14 run in the third quarter Tuesday, but Lansing closed with a 29-point fourth quarter and almost shocked the Wildcats.

De Soto hung on to win its Class 4A sub-state game, 66-64.

Lansing’s Jeff Slater led all scorers with 22 points in the losing effort.
