A split-axle dump truck carrying thousands of pounds of gravel overturned at a privately owned construction site in the 1500 block of Sigma Nu place. Police say Mar Lan construction crews were unloading gravel from the truck when it toppled over Friday at the future site of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority house. Police say the truck overturned because of the site's uneven ground. A private contractor owns the dump truck. Mar Lan officials say the accident will not delay construction of the sorority house.
