Today

All day: Exhibit, “First Blood: Kansas Prelude to Civil War,” Hobbs Park Memorial.

7 a.m.-midnight: Territorial Capitol Festival, Lecompton.

7:30 a.m.: Breakfast with Charles Pace, Frederick Douglass scholar, and Fred Krebs, Stephen Douglas scholar, Lawrence Visitor Center, $5.

8 a.m.-3 p.m.: Sold-out guided tour of Underground Railroad sites, leaves from Clinton Lake Corps of Engineers Office, 872 N. 1402 Road.

10 a.m.-11 a.m.: Adult workshop, “My Bondage and My Freedom,” presented by Charles Pace, Frederick Douglass scholar, Lawrence Visitor Center.
