Baltimore ? The Orioles acquired Jason Grimsley in a trade with the Kansas City Royals on Monday for right-handed prospect Denny Bautista. Grimsley, 36, was 3-3 with a 3.38 earned-run average in 32 appearances this season.

Bautista, 23, began the season at Double-A Bowie before making his major-league debut May 25. He made two appearances before being sent back to Bowie.
