Sullivan-Kimball

Warren and Melonie Sullivan, Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter Lindsey Sullivan to Micah Kimball, son of Larry and Sharon Kimball, Shawnee.

The future bride is a graduate of Lawrence High School. She received a degree in early childhood education from Kansas University.

The future groom is a graduate of Shawnee Mission East High School. He received a degree in architecture from KU.

The couple plan a September wedding.

Behnke-Phillips

Wayne and Tanya Behnke, Bushton, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jennifer Behnke, to Christopher Phillips, son of Carla Phillips, Lawrence, and the late Leroy Phillips.

The bride-to-be attended Sterling College. She is studying veterinary medicine at Kansas State University.

The future groom attended Sterling College. He is studying elementary education at K-State.

The couple plan a July 10 wedding at Assembly of God Church in Great Bend.

Copp-Collins

Don Copp and Chris Copp, both of Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica J. Copp, Eudora, to Chad J. Collins, Eudora, son of Terry Minshall and Carla Collins, both of Norton.

The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Charles and Hilda Whatley, Lawrence. She is a 1997 graduate of Lawrence High School and a 2003 graduate of Johnson County Community College. She works at Chada Sales Co. in Lawrence.

The future groom is the grandson of Leland Dwinell, Norton. He is a 1994 graduate of Norton Community High School and a graduate of Northwest Kansas Technical College. He works for Sprint in Overland Park.

The couple plan an April 16, 2005, wedding in Lawrence.

Honeyman-Frazier

Janet Honeyman and Roger McCollister, of Lawrence, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kerri Honeyman, to Brian Frazier, both of Prairie Village, son of Irvin and Jeannie Clubine, Garden City.

The future bride, an alumna of Gamma Phi Beta, received a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing and a master’s degree from Kansas State University. She is employed in sales at Cerner Corp. in Kansas City, Mo.

The future groom, an alumnus of Beta Theta Pi, received a Bachelor of Science degree in agribusiness from Kansas State University. He is a commodities merchant for MGM Inc. in Overland Park.

The couple plan a fall wedding in Kansas City.

Thornton-Alexander

Christina Thornton and David Alexander, both of Overland Park, announce their engagement.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Larry and Shelly Thornton, Lawrence. She is a 1997 Lawrence High School graduate. She received a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2003 from Kansas University. She is a supervisor at SuperTarget in Olathe. The future groom is the son of John and Jill Alexander, Lenexa. He is a 1997 graduate of Shawnee Mission West High School. He is a supervisor at SuperTarget in Olathe.

The couple plan an Oct. 9 wedding at First Christian Church in Lawrence.
