Bridgens-White

Amy Bridgens and Chase White, both of Lawrence, were married June 12, 2004, at Clinton Parkway Assembly of God Church in Lawrence with Pastor Rick Burwick officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Gregg and Terrie Bridgens, Lawrence. The groom is the son of Keith and Kay White, Lawrence.

Maid of honor was Lisa Bridgens. Best man was Mitchell White.

Bridesmaid was Erin Bridgens. Groomsman was Chad Barker.

The couple reside in Lawrence.

Pitcher-Bucher

Jordan Elyse Pitcher and Matthew Brandon Bucher were married July 3, 2004, in New York City with the Rev. Susanna Macomb officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William and Susan Culbertson Pitcher, Memphis, Tenn. She is the granddaughter of Ray and Frieda Culbertson, Lawrence. She graduated from Wichita Collegiate School in 1994. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature in 1998 from Carleton College in Minnesota, where she was a member of the NCAA Academic All-American swim team. She is a publicist at Oxford University Press in New York City.

The groom is a son of Catherine Bucher, Denison, Texas, and John Bucher, Denver. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature from the University of Denver. He is marketing manager at NYU Press.

The couple reside in New York City.

Hermreck-Katzer

Emilee Joanna Hermreck and John William Katzer, both of Overland Park, were married Sept. 13, 2003, at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Lawrence with the Rev. Alfred Rockers officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dale and Linda Hermreck, Ottawa. The groom is the son of Dennis and Margaret Katzer, Ottawa. The couple’s grandmothers are Bernice Rockers, Ottawa, and Eleanor Blaufuss, Olpe.

Maid of honor was Stephanie Hermreck. Best man was Jason Haney. Bridesmaids were Becky Haney, Sara Potts, Breanne Patton and Ashley Latner. Groomsmen were Chris Hermreck, John Blaufuss, David Tacha and Brad Langner.

Musicians were Emily Jones, Seth Lindsey and Hilary Smith. Ushers were Brian Dunn, Mike Dunn, Roy Edwards, Tim O’Donnell and Jared Wilkinson.

A reception, buffet and dance followed the ceremony at the Lawrence Country Club. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.

The bride is a Kansas University graduate. She is employed by Pennington & Co. as a consultant in Lawrence.

The groom received undergraduate and graduate degrees from KU. He is a senior auditor for Deloitte in downtown Kansas City.

The couple reside in Overland Park.
