These Douglas County 4-H'ers pose for a picture during Horticulture Fun Camp. They attended the camp June 21-25 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. During the camp, they learned about floral design principles, recycling, environmental conservation and agricultural-based products. The event concluded with a horticulture judging competition.

Cindy Yulich and Dave Adams, of Emprise Bank, cut a ribbon at a ceremony marking the opening of the bank's new area headquarters at 1121 Wakarusa Drive. The bank celebrated the opening of its new location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and reception on July 16.

These Douglas County 4-H'ers attend 4-H camp at Rock Springs 4-H Center near Junction City. They attended camp June 26-29. While at camp, they had the opportunity to participate in activities such as horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, archery and swimming.
