Helen White, 1999 Lawrence High School and 2003 Wellesley College graduate, spent most of the past year translating Chinese to English as an intern at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, Taiwan. The museum is best known for its Ch’ing Imperial Collection of more than 650,000 pieces of art and artifacts.

Here White discusses a Chinese view of an afterlife and why having children is important.
