Francis Joseph Linenberger

? Services for Francis “Frank” Joseph Linenberger, 67, Washington, Kan., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Washington. Burial will be at Washington City Cemetery.

Mr. Linenberger died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Kansas University Medical Center.

He was born July 13, 1937, in Morrowville, the son of Victor Andrew and Katherine Linenberger.

He worked as a custodian in School District 222.

Mr. Linenberger was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. He was also a First Degree Knights of Columbus member, and held memberships in the Rotary Club, the Future Farmers of America Alumni, and the Washington County Cancer Foundation. He served as president of the Church Council, and as a board member of Twin Valley Development and the Kansas Specialty Dogs Service.

He married Regina Overwald on April 24, 1976, in Hanover. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include his stepmother, Pansy Linenberger, Washington; three sons, Mark, of Keller, Tex., Shawn, of Lawrence, and Stephen, of Omaha, Neb.; a sister, Theresa Huntley, Topeka; two brothers, Cletus, of Carbondale, and Linus, of Washington; a stepbrother, Kenneth Stolzer, Washington; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church.
