Isaac Penny, Lawrence, made the dean’s list for the spring semester at Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, by receiving at least a 3.0 grade-point average.

  • MidAmerica Nazarene University, Olathe, announces area students who made honors during the spring semester. Julie Beck and Kathryn Davis, both of De Soto, made the president’s list by earning a 4.0 grade-point average. Students who made the dean’s list by earning a 3.5-3.99 GPA were: Ryan Chamberlin, Eudora; Jonathan Riley, Lawrence; Jean Mace, Ottawa; Amy Christian, Tecumseh; Sarah Mages, Tonganoxie; and Lauren Bohi, Wellsville. Rebekah Vann, Lawrence, and Matthew Rogers, Wellsville, made the honors list by receiving a 3.49-3.2 GPA.
  • Jenny Morrison and Abbey Patterson, both of Lawrence, made the dean’s list for the spring semester at William Jewell College, Liberty, Mo., by receiving at least a 3.5 grade-point average. Morrison is the daughter of David and Pamela Morrison. Patterson is the daughter of Dennis and Kala Patterson.
  • Toby Gettler, Lawrence, earned a master’s degree in liberal studies during the spring semester at Fort Hays State University.
