City exhibits among weekend fun

Two exhibitions marking the 150th anniversary of the founding of Lawrence open today at the Spencer Museum of Art: “Windmills to Workshops: Lawrence and the Visual Arts” and “Vanished Voices: The Legacy of Northeast Kansas Indians.” A family day and public opening from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday will feature gallery talks, children’s games, refreshments and bluegrass music.
