Accident restricts turnpike traffic in Lawrence
A tractor-trailer hit a section of road barrier on the Kansas Turnpike early today, producing no injuries but snarling traffic just east of the West Lawrence tollbooth.
Officials said traffic eastbound and westbound was limited to single lanes on each side of the turnpike near Mile Post 203 and likely would remain restricted most of the morning.
