Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Someone took a Dell laptop computer valued at $1,600 between 10:45 p.m. Monday and 1:15 a.m. Tuesday from a residence in the 1400 block of Kentucky Street, according to a report. It belonged to a 34-year-old man who lives at the home.
  • A Lawrence Police officer reported that someone illegally used his financial card June 25 to rack up $1,037 in purchases in Orlando, Fla.
