Cecil Bill Wohlford

He died Saturday, July 3, 2004, at his home.

Mr. Wohlford was the 1974 campaign manager for former U.S. Sen. Bob Dole, R-Kan. He worked for Slawson Co. as general counsel for 26 years.

He graduated from Kansas University where he was a three-time letterman in football and academic all-conference. He received several other academic and athletic awards while at KU, including the Hilltopper Award, which recognizes seniors who make important contributions to the community.

Survivors include his wife, Carol Wohlford; a daughter, Keri Meinking; four sons, Trevor, Brice, Will, and Luke; and two grandchildren.
