Bettie L. Alexander

Bonner Springs ? Services for Bettie L. Alexander, 75, Edwardsville, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Lawrence.

Mrs. Alexander died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at Providence Medical Center in Kansas City, Kan.

She was born March 30, 1928, in Boonville, Mo., the daughter of Frank and Gertrude Randolph.

Mrs. Alexander worked for Kansas Power and Light for more than 29 years. She was a member of First Christian Church of Bonner Springs, Order of the Eastern Star, Beta Sigma Phi and Business and Professional Women of Bonner Springs.

She married Dean Alexander on Aug. 15, 1948. He died in 1996.

Survivors include her mother, Olathe; two sons, Mike Alexander, Rhome, Texas, and Greg Alexander, Edwardsville; a daughter, Lori J. Alexander, Delray Beach, Fla.; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
