Lola Frances Allen

? Services for Lola Frances Allen, 66, Eudora, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary Eudora Chapel. Burial will be in Eudora Cemetery.

Mrs. Allen died Saturday, Jan. 24, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

She was born July 7, 1937, in Monette, Ark., the daughter of Harold Arlis and Genevera Mornis (Pitts) Blevins.

Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and had lived in Eudora since 1952. She worked at Sunflower Ammunition Plant for five years and then for Burnett-David Instruments for 15 years. She retired in 1986.

She was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church in Eudora.

She married Arlis Monroe Allen on Dec. 24, 1955, in Lawrence. He survives of the home.

Other survivors include two sons, David Arlis Allen and Gerald Ray Allen, both of Eudora; two brothers, Billy Ray Fulks, Jessup, Ga., and Gary M. Fulks, Batesville, Ark.; and four grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Eudora chapel.

The family suggests memorials to First Southern Baptist Church in Eudora, sent in care of the mortuary.
