CANTON, MO. ? Jessica Pontius scored 14, leading Baker University’s women’s basketball squad to a 67-55 win Thursday over Culver-Stockton.

Erin Robinson added 11 points and Amber Koblitz had six rebounds for the Wildcats (11-9, 7-3 Heart of America).

The BU men lost, 70-52, to Culver-Stockton. D.J. Watkins, a Lawrence High product, had 13 points and Marc Roberts added 12 for the Wildcats (6-15, 3-7).

The BU men and women each play host to Missouri Valley Saturday in Baldwin. The women’s game is scheduled for 2 p.m., with the men to follow.
