Baldwin girls collapse late
Bulldog boys rally past Riley County
RILEY ? Kari Garrison scored 25, but the Baldwin High girls basketball squad fell apart in the fourth quarter during a 56-52 loss Saturday to Riley County.
Emily Brown added 12 points for the Bulldogs, who led, 45-39, after three quarters.
“It was a hard-fought game the whole way,” BHS coach Eric Toot said. “They got on a run in the fourth quarter, and that was the difference.”
Baldwin (8-2) plays host Monday to Wellsville.

Riley — Brian Turk, Jeremy Wright and Austin Inzer each scored 11 points, leading the Baldwin boys past Riley County.
The Bulldogs (4-7) trailed, 24-19, at halftime, but BHS coach Jeff Haas liked the way his squad rallied for the victory.
“It’s a big road win for us,” he said. “Riley County has a tradition of being a really good team in (Class) 3A, so we’re really excited about it.”
Baldwin plays host Tuesday to Anderson County at the Baldwin Invitational.
