Ivan L. Kelley Sr.

— Memorial services for Ivan L. Kelley Sr., 82, San Juan, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at American Legion Loyal Service Post No. 37 in McAllen.

Mr. Kelley died Wednesday, Jan, 14, 2004.

He was born Nov. 8, 1921, in Stockton, Kan., the son of Willy B. and Pearl (Maxwell) Kelley. He lived in Lawrence, Kan., and Kansas City, Kan., until he retired to the Rio Grande Valley in Texas, where he lived until his death.

Mr. Kelley was a truck driver. He had been an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 28 years.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth L. Kelley, of the home; two sons, Ivan L. Jr., Lawrence, and Kevin W., Kansas City, Kan.; six daughters, Sandra L. Reed, Lawrence, Marilyn R. Still, Guthrie, Okla., Karen J. Stolinski, Overland Park, Kan., Barbara L. Kelley, San Juan, Deborah L. Kelley, Pharr, and Kimberley J. Otter, Elkridge, Md.; 20 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials to Comfort House Hospice, 617 Dallas Ave., McAllen TX 78501.

Kreidler Funeral Home in McAllen is in charge of arrangements.
