Edwin Baker Spaulding

? Memorial services for Edwin Baker Spaulding, 95, Warwick, will be at 1 p.m. Jan. 25 at Lazear-Smith & Vander Plaat Memorial Home in Warwick. Burial will be in Warwick Cemetery.

Mr. Spaulding died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003, at Schervier Nursing Home in Warwick.

He was born Aug. 29, 1908, in North Anson, Maine, the son of Harry and Jessie Baker Spaulding. He attended Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Mr. Spaulding was a chemist at Badger Ordnance Works in Madison, Wis., and for Hercules in Parlin, N.J., until 1970. He was a real estate agent in East Brunswick, N.J., until 1981.

He was a member, choir member and deacon at First Presbyterian Church in New Brunswick, N.J. He was an American Cancer Society volunteer and member of the Spencer Museum of Art.

He married Mary Gretchen Brendle in 1938 in Egypt, Pa. They divorced in 1978. He married Justine Moore in 1981 in Flemington, N.J. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include a daughter, Andrea Spaulding Norris, Lawrence, Kan.

A son, Brent, died of leukemia in 1950.
