Kracls lead Eudora over Anderson County

? High-scoring Eudora High senior Lauren Kracl scored 27 points, while Erin Kracl tallied 12 and Michelle Deluna 11 in the Cardinals’ 66-36 basketball victory over Anderson County Friday night.

The Cardinals scored 39 points against a zone defense the first half and finished with 18 in the fourth quarter against a man-to-man.

“We adjusted well,” said Eudora coach Cara Kimberlin. “We did a good job swinging the ball around against their zone. They sat back in a zone and tried to prevent us from throwing it into Lauren. Our perimeter people did good job hitting shots.

“The second half when they went to a man we didn’t take care of the ball the third quarter, but finished with 18 points. Rachel stepped up and scored for us as did Erin and Michelle. We played well overall tonight.”

Lauren Kracl, a 6-foot senior, averages 24 points and 12 boards a game. She exploded for 35 versus Pleasant Ridge earlier this season.

Eudora will meet Spring Hill Tuesday night in Eudora.
