Raymond L. Spriggs

Mr. Spriggs died Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2004, at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka.

He was born Oct. 14, 1932, in Oswego, the son of Ross O. and Anna L. (Hinman) Spriggs. He grew up and attended schools in the Oswego area.

Mr. Spriggs was a self-employed concrete finisher for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in California.

He married Audrey Marie Miller on Aug. 26, 1955, in New Mexico. They later divorced.

Survivors include two daughters, Ronda R. Sanders, Topeka, and Nannette Nily, Fort Collins, Colo.; three sons, Michael S., Orange, Calif., Steven P., Amarillo, Texas, and Danny R., Scammon; six brothers, Joel Spriggs, Monford Spriggs, Gary Spriggs, Larry Spriggs, Jim Strickland and Tim Strickland; his former wife; and 10 grandchildren.

A granddaughter died earlier.

Family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Wilson and Son Funeral Home in Wellsville.

The family suggests memorials to Northside Church of Christ, sent in care of Lamb-Roberts Funeral Home, P.O. Box 64, Baldwin 66006.
