Arizona crushes Cal

? Hassan Adams had 19 points and nine rebounds, and No. 3 Arizona coasted to a 95-75 win over California Thursday night.

The victory, the Wildcats’ 13th in the 14 games against the Bears, tied Lute Olson with Fred Enke for the most career wins by an Arizona coach.

Olson’s 21-year record is 509-148, compared with Enke’s 509-324 in 36 years. Olson earned his 700th win overall Saturday in a 93-74 rout of Arizona State.

The coach wasn’t content.

“We have to be better rebounders,” Olson said about Cal’s 43-30 edge on the glass. “We performed very poorly on the defensive boards, so we have to work on that in the next few days.”

Salim Stoudamire scored 18 points, Ivan Radenovic had 17 and Channing Frye 16 for the Wildcats (10-1, 1-0 Pac-10).

Cal (5-7, 1-2) was missing leading scorer and rebounder Leon Powe, who sat out the game to rest his sore left knee.
