• Kansas leads the series with Colorado, 105-39. The Jayhawks are 32-26 against the Buffs in Boulder, including a 17-7 mark in the Coors Events Center.
• KU coach Bill Self has never met the Buffs as a head coach. Colorado coach Ricardo Patton is 1-16 versus the Jayhawks.
• Colorado won the last meeting in Boulder, 60-59, Jan. 22, 2003.
• Kansas is 1,000-460 all-time against schools in the Big 12 Conference. KU is 108-41 all-time versus schools from the state of Colorado.
• KU has made 182 of 232 free throws, for 78.4 percent — top mark in the Big 12. The Jayhawks never have shot 80 percent or higher from the line over a season in school history. KU has shot over 70 percent from the line once in the last 10 years (71.9 in 2001-02). Last year, KU shot 65.6 percent from the line. The school record for highest free-throw percentage is 73.3 percent in 1948-49.
• Self (Oklahoma State) and KU assistant coach Tim Jankovich (Kansas State) each faced Colorado as players. Self was 6-2 versus CU, while Jankovich was 8-0 against the Buffaloes.
