Join the J-W teen board

Students in fifth through 12th grades are welcome to join the Journal-World Teen Advisory Board, where members can suggest or write stories for 18 & Under. It’s also an opportunity to learn more about how the Journal-World functions, and you’ll have opportunities to talk with speakers like Sports Editor Chuck Woodling or a reporter from 6News.

It is a noisy night
in the big city
I lay here
cold
in the empty
stone fountain
waiting
for the fairies
coming to take me away
anywhere
but here
a siren screams in the distance
waiting for the fairies
to take me
to their magic home
anywhere
but here
