Blackmon, Bears romp past Sooners

? Steffanie Blackmon scored a season-high 29 points, and Sophia Young added 13 points and eight rebounds, helping No. 19 Baylor beat No. 24 Oklahoma, 77-62, Saturday night.

Blackmon hit 11 of 15 shots from the floor and seven of seven from the free-throw line for the Bears (20-6, 8-5 Big 12 Conference).

Erin Higgins was 3-of-6 on three-pointers and scored 13 points to lead Oklahoma (17-7, 7-6). Maria Villarroel added 12 points, and Caton Hill and Leah Rush each scored 11.

No. 13 Colorado 72, Oklahoma State 57

Boulder, Colo. — Tera Bjorklund had 18 points and 16 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season, leading No. 13 Colorado.

Oklahoma State’s Nina Stone fell on a drive to the basket in the first half and had to be taken off the court on a stretcher. She scored 12 points in the first 14 minutes before being injured. X-rays on Stone’s neck were negative.

Randie Wirt and Kate Fagan each scored 16 points, and Veronica Johns-Richardson added 12 for Colorado (20-5, 9-4), which had lost two in a row.

Trisha Skibbe scored 19 points to lead the Cowgirls (8-17, 3-11).
