Retired general to speak Tuesday

A retired U.S. Army general will speak Tuesday at Kansas University.

William L. Nash will discuss the role of the military in state-building during a lecture from 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Kansas Room of the Kansas Union. The talk is free and open to the public.

Nash now directs the Council on Foreign Relation’s Center for Preventive Action. He served as commander of Task Force Eagle, which implemented the Dayton Peace Accords in 1995 in Bosnia.
