Chris Noth ( “Law & Order,” “Sex and the City”) returns to the force in the original TV drama “Bad Apple” (8 p.m., TNT). Fans of the Quentin Tarantino/Elmore Leonard School of violent crime farce should take a bite out this “Apple.”

In addition to Noth’s undercover FBI agent Mike Tozzi, the film sports an impressive cast of colorful characters, including Colm Meaney as his short-tempered partner, Cuthbert Gibbons, and Mercedes Ruhl as Cuthbert’s feisty wife, Lorraine. Robert Patrick (“T2,” “The Sopranos”) brings his usual frenetic anger as mobster Tommy “Bells” Bellavita, and Elliot Gould has a lark as crime boss “Buddha” Stanzione.

Oscar winner Marcia Gay Harden stars in “She’s Too Young” (7 p.m., Lifetime) as the mother of a teenage girl (Alexis Dziena) whose casual attitude toward oral sex with a local boy has serious consequences for her health and emotional well-being.

The Hallmark Channel won’t settle for a three-hour tour: It’s running a 15-hour marathon of “Gilligan’s Island” beginning at 7 a.m. The sitcom turns 40 this year.
