University Bridge Club announces winners of its Feb. 7 game. Hosts were Ed and Hazel Stellmacher and Carl and Isabelle Schaake.

Blue winners were Jean Khatib, first; Lois Liebert, second; Virginia Williams, third; Florence McNicoll, fourth; and Paul Jordan, fifth.

Pink winners were Wanda Kring, first; Bette Lukens, second; Isabelle Schaake and Hazel Stellmacher, third; Alice Akin, fourth; and Marian Davis, fifth.

• The Lawrence 299ers’ Duplicate Bridge Club met Feb. 4. Two teams of four competed in a Knockout game.

Members of the winning team were Al Ballard, Emily Foster, Amy Miller and Grant Sutton.

• The Lawrence TGIF Duplicate Bridge Club met Feb. 6. Seven tables competed in a stratified game that used a Mitchell movement. Virginia Seaver directed the play.

Playing North-South, Klee Zaricky and Chris Lane claimed first place in A and B. Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer took second in A. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty placed third in A, second in B and first in C.

Competing East-West, Dave Piro and Paul Heitzman took first place in A. Helen Huffman and Bob Huffman placed second in A and first in B and C. Eldon Herd and Glenna Herd were third in A and second in B.
