4-H and FCE news

Stull Busy Beavers 4-H Club met Jan. 12. Members answered roll call by naming their favorite Christmas gift. Daisy Johnson and Taylor Springer led the club in singing. Kelsey Wulfkuhle joined the club. Club members were reminded of various project meetings. Members decided to sell coupons for a fund-raiser.

  • The Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club met Jan. 12 in Building 1 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. Tori Richie and Janell Tefft led the club in singing “Little Bar of Soap.” Erin Ashcraft gave a presentation about her trip to the National 4-H Congress in Atlanta. Committees met and discussed goals for the year.

  • Vinland Family Community Education Unit will meet at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Vinland Methodist Church. Members will answer roll call by telling what they were doing on 9-11. Lola Ford will give the lesson “Prepare for Natural Disaster.” Club officers will be hosts.
