Lincoln, Mo. ? Authorities in Benton County charged a 40-year-old Kansas City woman Thursday in connection with the abduction of a 1-month-old boy, who was found safe in Kansas City hours after he disappeared from his home in this small town.

Tammy L. Roberson, charged with burglary and felonious restraint, is being held on a $100,000 bond. She was taken into custody following Wednesday’s kidnapping and recovery of Jesse Peaster. Also Thursday, police released a man Benton County Sheriff Gary Friar described as “supposedly” Roberson’s husband.

Jesse, the son of Nancy and Jake Peaster, of Lincoln, was taken from his home in Benton County about 10 a.m. Wednesday, while his mother was on a treadmill in the basement.
