Robinson services

? Graveside services for Dearld S. Robinson, 75, Eudora, will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Eudora City Cemetery.

Mr. Robinson died Monday, Feb. 9, 2004, at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

He was born Oct. 20, 1928, in Sturgis, S.D., the son of Clive Robinson and Valeria (Sharp) Daniels. He graduated from high school in Rapid City, S.D.

Mr. Robinson was a chef and later a carpenter for 35 years. He had worked at Hallmark Cards and E & E Specialties. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Velda Rose United Methodist Church in Mesa, Ariz., Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6654 in De Soto, and Masonic Lodge No. 83 in Eudora.

He married Marie K. Wilkins on Nov. 24, 1965, in Grand Island, Neb. She survives of the home.

Other survivors include three sons, Scott, Eudora, Ward Johnston, Eudora, and Paul, Ottawa; four daughters, Christine Robinson, Racine, Mo., Sheila Sanders, Overland Park, Karla Schulte, Shawnee, and Rendia Clark, Mountain View, Ark.; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials to Masonic Lodge No. 83, sent in care of the funeral home.
