Edward C. Julian

? Memorial services for Edward C. Julian, 73, Buffalo Grove, Ill., will be this spring.

Mr. Julian died Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2004, at Northwest Community Healthcare Center in Arlington Heights, Ill.

He was born Oct. 22, 1930, in Kansas City, Mo.

Mr. Julian was a professor of industrial design and director of special events at Kansas University for more than 25 years. He was later dean at the International Academy of Merchandising and Design in Chicago and owner of Frame Design by Julian in Buffalo Grove, which he operated for more than 10 years. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Sandra L. (Pursel); two sons, Mark Bushouse, Overland Park, and John Bushouse, San Jose, Calif.; five sisters, Lucille Thomas, Alice Tittsworth, Nadyne Negus, Alpha Canole and Joanne Vera; and two grandchildren.
