Bobbi Brown supports V-Day

New York — Bobbi Brown’s new limited-edition lip palette covers all its “V-Day” bases.

The colors — Burnt Red, Red and Scarlet — are Valentine’s Day-ready, and the proceeds will be donated to V-Day, a nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds to stop violence against women and girls, including rape, battery, incest, female genital mutilation and sexual slavery.

The lip palette, which includes a lip brush and three lip colors, costs $27 and is available during February at Bobbi Brown counters nationwide and on the company’s Web site, www.bobbibrowncosmetics.com.

The V-Day organization was founded in 1998, inspired by the experiences of playwright Eve Ensler as she performed “The Vagina Monologues” in cities around the world. After hearing hundreds of stories from women who had been victimized, Ensler recruited a group of New York women to found the group, which promotes awareness of existing anti-violence organizations and raises funds for them.
