The fourth annual “Shabbaton,” a 24-hour festival of Jewish prayer, celebration and learning events, will begin at 7:30 p.m. Friday and end at sundown Feb. 14 at the Lawrence Jewish Community Center, 917 Highland Drive.

The theme of the event is “Renewing Our Love for Jewish Traditions.”

The afternoon programs Feb. 14 are free for center members and KU Hillel students and cost $10 for nonmembers.

All other Friday and weekend programs are free and open to the community.
