Chicago Board of Trade
Soybean futures fell heavily Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Grain prices also declined, though less sharply than soybeans.
Wheat for March delivery fell 4 cents to $3.85 a bushel; March corn fell 5 cents to $2.71 1/4 a bushel; March oats fell 1 cent to $1.55 3/4 a bushel; March soybeans fell 26 1/2 cents to $7.93 a bushel.
Beef futures ended mixed while pork futures advanced on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
March live cattle fell .50 cent to 74.45 cents a pound; March feeder cattle rose .38 cent to 84.05 cents a pound; April lean hogs rose .80 cent to 60 cents a pound; March pork bellies rose .02 cent to 85.92 cents a pound.
