Bishop Seabury Academy is a private Episcopal day school for girls and boys in grades seven through 12.
The school, which was started in the 1997-98, teaches a traditional, college preparatory curriculum.
The school's fall 2004 enrollment was 125 students.
At the beginning of the 2003-2004 academic year, the school moved from its original location five miles east of Lawrence in the old Kaw Valley School to its present location on Clinton Parkway, which formerly housed the Alvamar Racquet and Swim Club.
Chris Carter is the headmaster. The school has 22 staff and faculty members.
