Two released from KU hospital after accident
Two people injured Friday afternoon in a rollover accident east of Lawrence have been released from University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City, Kan.
Driver Brett Johnson, 22, Tonganoxie, and passenger Enoch Jones, 19, were taken by air ambulances to the hospital after Johnson’s car, a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix, rolled over in the 1700 section of North 1500 Road.
Two other passengers, Amanda Pringle, 21, and her daughter Nicole Gries, 2, both of Eudora, were taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital and released Friday.
Douglas County Sheriff’s officials are investigating the accident.
