Soybean futures retreated while grain futures finished mixed Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for March delivery fell 1 1/4 cent to $2.96 1/4 a bushel; March corn rose 3/4 cent to $2.04 a bushel; March oats rose 2 1/2 cents to $1.59 3/4 a bushel; January soybeans fell 7 1/4 cents to $5.20 3/4 a bushel.

Pork futures increased while beef futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

February live cattle fell .87 cent to 88 cents a pound; January feeder cattle fell 1.17 cent to $1.021 a pound; February lean hogs rose .02 cent to 75.92 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose .67 cent to $1.0077 a pound.
