Law enforcement report

  • An argument about money led a Lawrence man to pull a Samurai sword on an acquaintance Monday night in the 1200 block of East 13th St., according to a report.

The suspect also used the sword to puncture a tire on the victim’s car as he tried to leave, said Sgt. Dan Ward, a Lawrence Police spokesman. The victim, a 25-year-old Lawrence man, didn’t want to press charges.

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • A burglar forced entry to Radio Shack, 711 W. 23rd St., and stole electronics equipment including three digital cameras, according to a report. The theft happened about midnight Monday. Total value of the items stolen was $1,400.
  • A $4,500 Black Ford Mustang was reported stolen from Midwest Mustang, 2401 Ponderosa Lane. The theft happened between 5 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Monday.
