Miles plans KU visit

Blue-chip basketball recruit C.J. Miles will make his official recruiting visit to Kansas University the weekend of Aug. 27-28.

Miles, a 6-foot-5, 190-pound guard from Dallas Skyline High, also has scheduled a visit Sept. 10 to Arizona.

“If I am really impressed with my time at Kansas, I might be ready to end my recruitment,” Miles told Shay Wildeboor of rivals.com. “Kansas and Arizona are definitely my leaders right now.”

He also is considering Georgia Tech and North Carolina.

Miles’ buddy, 6-8 Kevin Rogers of Dallas South Oak Cliff, likely will visit KU on Sept. 24. Rogers will visit Georgia Tech on Sept. 4 and Arizona on Sept. 17.

Meanwhile, Jeff Adrien, a 6-6 forward from Brookline, Mass., has eliminated Kansas from his list of schools and said he would attend either UConn or Pittsburgh.

Tyler Hansbrough, a 6-9, 225-power forward from Poplar Bluff, Mo., who has a final list of KU, North Carolina, Kentucky and Missouri, has returned from a vacation to Cancun.

“I could have my decision made in a couple of weeks, and that is my timetable to have it done by the end of August,” Hansbrough told rivals.com.
