Lawrence’s Bob Glass stumbled in the Round of 16 at the PBA Senior St. Petersburg/Clearwater Open bowling tournament Wednesday in Seminole, Fla.

Top-seeded after the first two rounds, Glass breezed to a 3-0 win Tuesday over No. 32 seed Jim Wilson, but fell to No. 17 seed Roger Bowker in Wednesday’s match play.

Glass led two games to one, but Bowker rallied and won the last two games of the best-of-five match, 247-207 and 248-181. Glass entered the tourney as the Senior Tour’s leading money winner with $27,250.

Two more stops remain on the Senior Tour — the Jackson, Mich., Open next week and the Lake County Open in Hammond, Ind., the following week.
