More than 450 people attended the event, which featured 47 booths from area businesses.

They represented Crown Automotive, title sponsor of the tournament, which was June 11 at Alvamar Public Golf Course. The tournament helped raise money for the Cottonwood Foundation.

The Lawrence Board of Realtors had a Realtor open house July 14 at the Social Service League Thrift Store in preparation for the Day of Caring on Oct. 23. The Lawrence Board of Realtors has chosen the reorganization of the thrift store as their community project for 2004. A huge yard sale will be held in conjunction with the project on Oct. 23.
