Access. Romary, Rahmeier and Schmid were among the eight bachelors
who helped raise money. Rahmeier brought the top bid of ,050
during the July 15 event at JB Stouts Sports Bar & Grill, 721
Wakarusa Drive.

Health and Wellness Expo on July 17 at TherapyWorks, 1112 W. Sixth
St, Suite 120. More than 450 people attended the event, which
featured 47 booths from area businesses.

and Sigler are board members of the nonprofit organization, which
provides care for the uninsured in Douglas County. The event was

Cottonwood Classic golf tournament. They represented Crown
Automotive, title sponsor of the tournament, which was June 11 at
Alvamar Public Golf Course. The tournament helped raise money for
the Cottonwood Foundation.

directions. The Lawrence Board of Realtors had a Realtor open house
July 14 at the Social Service League Thrift Store in preparation
for the Day of Caring on Oct. 23. The Lawrence Board of Realtors
has chosen the reorganization of the thrift store as their
community project for 2004. A huge yard sale will be held in
conjunction with the project on Oct. 23.

a date night. The auction raised more than ,000 for the nonprofit
organization, which helps people who can't afford health care.
