Gene Foster

HUMBOLDT ? Graveside services for Gene Foster, 51, Ottawa, will be at noon Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Humboldt.

Mr. Foster died Saturday, April 24, 2004, at his home.

He was born April 23, 1953, in Iola, the son of Robert W. and Lora B. Dietrich Foster. He moved from Carlyle to Ottawa in 1972.

Mr. Foster was owner and operator of Foster’s Garage in Ottawa for 31 years. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ottawa.

Survivors include two sisters, Betty Sutterby, Olathe, and Patricia M. Johnson, Ottawa; and three brothers, Robert W., Humansville, Mo., and James W. and Fredrick J., both of Ottawa.

Friends may call after 8:30 a.m. today and from 8:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday at Dengel & Son Mortuary in Ottawa, where a rosary will be said at 6:30 p.m. today. Family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to Sacred Heart Catholic School, sent in care of the mortuary, 235 S. Hickory St., Ottawa 66067.
