Law enforcement report

Burglaries and thefts reported

  • Twenty tires were slashed on eight vehicles early Sunday in North Lawrence, according to a police report. The vehicles were parked in driveways and along the 600 and 700 blocks of Locust Street. Total damage was listed as $1,500.
  • A 2001 Mercury Cougar was taken Saturday from the 1200 block of Kentucky Street, a 21-year-old Lawrence woman reported to police. The car and other belongings in it were valued at $8,105.
