Beem services

Services for Matthew L. Beem, 35, Conyers, Ga., will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Rumsey-Yost Funeral Home, Lawrence. Burial will be in Eudora City Cemetery.

Mr. Beem died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky.

Friends may call from noon to 9 p.m. today and until service time Wednesday at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

The family suggests memorials to the Amanda Beem Educational Fund or the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, sent in care of the funeral home.
